Nr the Village Hall (Pine Lodge), The Pine Lodge, Thame Road, Little Milton, Oxfordshire, OX447PZ
This park is amazing! I believe it’s fairly new and it’s a real plus for an already beautiful village. This lovely playground is barely visible from the main road and actually looks like part of the pre-school so you’d be forgiven for not realising it’s here. If you park in the car park for the village hall there is a wooden gate to the left of the cafe. Go through the gate and the playground is around the back.
There is a lot of equipment for a variety of ages; there’s climbing frames, rockers, a ship, zip line, various types of swings and more. There is also a wooden gazeebo to get some shade in and plenty of seating for parents. It is well fenced off and visible throughout so there’s no chance of losing little ones. I massively prefer wooden playground over metal ones as I think they stay looking nicer for longer and this one is really imaginative. I like that it’s not just boring equipment either – it’s perfect for getting the imagination going.
As an added bonus there is also a lovely rec ground so if the kids get tired of climbing, sliding, swinging and zipping they can have a run-around instead.
All in, it’s a great park that works well for both kids and adults alike. It suits all ages and is very well maintained. It’s about a 25 minute drive from Aylesbury (depending on traffic of course) and it’s definitely worth it. Have a look at the video for a full look around.
