Berkhamsted Castle Review

A ruined Norman castle right in the middle of a Hertfordshire town! it’s completely FREE to visit too. It’s a great place for a picnic and a run-around. Lots of good facilities nearby too, just be careful of the steep slopes.

Stonehenge, Wiltshire

The most famous stone circle in the world! There’s more than just the stones here, there is a landscape full of it’s own history.

Eden Project

We’ve been to the Eden Project quite a few times and it is different each time. The place is massive and there is so much to do. They quite often do events and different exhibitions so it’s worth checking on the website to see what is going on. Whilst a lot of the site is outdoors they also have the amazing biomes (Mediterranean and Rainforest) so there is plenty to do even if it’s raining. It’s an amazing way to learn more about the environment and help get the kids interested.
