Off Link Road, Great Missenden, HP16 9AE
This is a small park in Great Missenden but it’s got a fantastic activity circuit for older kids. The zip wire is quite high off the ground so my 6 year old couldn’t get onto it without help but he loved it once he was on there. It also has a couple of swings and a play frame. The equipment is all well maintained and the park was nice and clean. There are a few benches so the grown-ups can sit down whilst the kids play.
The rec ground also has a lovely green space, a skate park, sports courts and a smaller playground for younger kids. The Memorial hall is on the same site and there are a lot of community events held there.
Other than that, there’s not a lot to say about this park but it’s a nice place to take the kids. You can also combine it with a visit to the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (https://www.freetimewiththekids.co.uk/roald-dahl-museum) or the Great Missenden Library which are both around the corner.
