If you’re looked around the website then you’ll know we do quite a lot of crafts as a family. Pretty much all of my craft resources come from Baker Ross and I’ve been an affiliate for their products for a while. I saw that they were offering the Craft-It! Box subscription and we decided to try it out and write a review.
Even the box of the Craft-It! Box is very cool – you can colour it in if you want to. I get very excited when I get my monthly email saying it’s coming.
What’s in the Craft-it! box?
It’s a monthly craft subscription for children aged 3-9. Inside the Craft-It! Box you’ll find two of their pre-made craft kits, an activity booklet and some themed stickers. The cost of the two craft kits combined is always more than the cost of the subscription, so it offers good value for money.
Each box works around a theme, as do the crafts and booklet. In October there was a monster theme so we got monster magnets and monster masks. September’s box included leaf stained glass kits and harvest festival cross stitch kits. Some of the kits work better for younger kids than other. For example, the cross stitch kits weren’t particularly good for my 3 year old, but my 10 year old absolutely loved it. Smallest Child did, however, REALLY like both of the monster craft kits.
The activity booklet
The activity booklet has things like games, colouring in pages, puzzles and activities. These do tend to be more suited to children aged 5/6+. Because of this I give it to the boys instead of Smallest Child. Obviously she gets the sheet of stickers. Even without the activity booklet the craft packs themselves offer good value for money.
We’ve subscribed to the Baker Ross Craft-It! activity boxes for a while now. It’s one of the only subscriptions that I’ve tried out and carried on with. As much as I’ve love to keep doing them all, we try out a fair few and that could get VERY expensive!!
The Craft-It! Box from Baker Ross is £9.95 per month, with free delivery. You can get your first box for just £4.95 though, and you can cancel at any time. Visit their website to sign up today.
If this subscription box isn’t for you, have a look at all the subscriptions, postal boxes and apps I’ve reviewed on the website.
